CSR performance recognised by the rating agencies

Covivio’s sustainable development policy is regularly recognised by non-financial rating agencies. Covivio is also part of these indices: DJSI World and Europe, Euronext Environment CDP, Ethibel Sustainability Index, FTSE4Good, Gaïa by Ethifinance (2th/230), MSCI (AA rating), STOXX Europe Sustainability and Global ESG Impact, Vigeo-Eiris 20 France, 120 Europe, 120 Eurozone, 120 World, rated A- by the CDP. In 2020, Covivio obtained the status of “Global Sector Leader” (Diversified Office / Residential – listed companies) from GRESB with an overall rating of 85/100 and a 100/100 in the “Public Disclosure” category. In 2020, Covivio also retained its “Sector Leader” status with Vigeo-Eiris, obtaining for the second consecutive year the maximum A1 + rating and ranking 5th in the world for rated companies, all sectors. Covivio is also progressing with ISS-ESG this year, with a B- score (vs C + in 2019), and with the Corporate Sustainability Assessment of Standards & Poor (percentile score of 96). The Group maintains its AA rating with MSCI and remains in the top 1% of companies assessed by Ecovadis. Finally, in October 2020, Covivio received an ESG Risk Rating of 8.5 (inversed scale from 0 to 100) and was assessed by Sustainanalytics to be at Negligible risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors.

Covivio awarded for its CSR commitments

 

Covivio regularly receives distinctions for its CSR policy: in 2018, Covivio won the Grand Prix Entreprises et Environnement (grand prize – businesses and the environment) for “best non-financial performance declaration, environmental category.” That same year, the group also received the Grand Prix AGEFI du Gouvernement d’Entreprise (AGEFI grand prize for corporate governance) as well as the special jury prize at the Grand Prix de l’Assemblée Générale (General Meeting Awards) for the quality, transparency, and importance given to CSR at the 2018 General Meeting. Lastly, still in 2018, the group garnered two EPRA Gold Awards for its CSR reporting and its financial reporting.
