Heritage
The ambitious Corte Italia re-design project retains the historical character of the building, partially destroyed during the II World War.
Corte Italia is a prestigious historic building owned by Covivio in the heart of the city centre of Milan. The building was undergoing a major redevelopment project designed to create flexible and efficient spaces that are ideal for modern work environments. This mono tenant building is already 100% pre let.
In the heart of Milan’s city centre, Corte Italia embodies Covivio’s ability to transform heritage into opportunity. Owned by Covivio since 2015, this prestigious building has undergone a complete redevelopment to meet the demands of today’s workplace, all while preserving its historical essence.
The project enhances the building’s relationship with its urban context through subtle yet impactful architectural interventions. Two additional floors were integrated into the original volume, expanding the usable space while maintaining the building’s harmony with its surroundings. Inside, all spaces have been fully reimagined to offer modern, flexible and efficient environments tailored to the new ways of working.
At the core of the building lies the inner courtyard, a signature element of historic Milanese palaces. Elevated and covered with a glazed roof, it now becomes a central, light-filled space — perfect for events, informal meetings or simply connecting with colleagues. Panoramic terraces overlooking Corso Italia and Piazza Santa Eufemia further enrich the experience, offering green, open-air areas designed for wellbeing and collaboration.
Corte Italia is also part of a broader urban regeneration vision: the redesign of the adjacent Piazza Santa Eufemia will open the building even more to the city, enhancing accessibility and integration into the evolving business district.
Already fully pre-let, Corte Italia stands as a successful example of how historical buildings can be thoughtfully reinterpreted to meet contemporary needs, combining identity, innovation and quality in every detail.
