As the Covivio Foundation embarks on a new five-year cycle of activity, 2025 is already proving to be a very busy year: long-term partnerships in Italy and Germany are being overhauled, links between the Foundation's actions and Covivio's activities are being strengthened, and employee engagement is increasing through the Socovivio programme. The first results are already visible.
Since its creation in 2020, the Foundation has distinguished itself through its commitment to equal opportunities and has already forged strong partnerships with more than 30 associations in France, Italy and Germany.
Following the review at the end of 2024 of the three-year support programmes in France, the Covivio Foundation has dedicated 2025 to reviewing the same partnerships in Italy and Germany, which are all coming to an end. The Covivio Foundation offers two types of support: three-year grants and one-year partnerships for projects submitted during the year.
The Covivio Foundation currently supports 18 associations, all committed to greater equality of opportunity in the three countries where it operates.
In Italy, it is supporting La Strada, KIM and Agrivis for a period of three years, and Equa for one year. In France, the Foundation has made a three-year commitment to Fratries, La Cravate Solidaire and Refugee Food, and a one-year commitment to Résidence Sainte-Constance, Descodeuses, Ambitieuses, Culture Prioritaire and JRS. Finally, in Germany, three-year partnerships have been established with Oliver Kahn Stiftung, Tafel Berlin and Al Farabi Musikakademie, and one-year collaborations with Apropolis, Deutsches Theater and KRASS.
Wecare: connecting the Foundation’s actions to Covivio’s activities.
As part of its European Wecare programme, Covivio has launched several initiatives that have further strengthened the link between the Foundation’s actions and the group’s activities. Here are a few examples: in France, Fratries presented its inclusive co-living model to corporate clients of the So Pop building in Saint-Ouen; in Italy, Covivio and the SNAM corporate foundation (a Covivio client at the Symbiosis site in Milan) supported a joint project for young people in difficulty with La Strada, an association supported by both entities. Finally, in Germany, a joint project between JRS, Lebenshilfe and Covivio has created a “residential passport” in simplified language for vulnerable people, to facilitate access to information on housing.
Covivio employee engagement: record mobilisation in 2025!
With more than 1,645 hours of solidarity work completed, 2025 marks a record in employee engagement since the Foundation was launched in Europe.
A total of 436 missions were carried out for 23 associations in the three countries, including 226 in France, 113 in Germany and 97 in Italy.
