Since the period of the Enlightenment, the French art of living has spread throughout the world through fashion, culture and design. The French touch is that little extra that makes us unique, somewhat offbeat but always guided by a taste for detail combined with consummate expertise. This quintessentially French attribute has been preserved by the big names in design who, since the beginning of the industrial era, have brought art into our living spaces in the form of everyday objects.
